AE Automotion (M) Sdn Bhd is one of the subsidiaries of MAEMODE Holdings Berhad, which listed on the Main Board of the Bursa Malaysia. AE is an one-stop automated materials handling system solutions provider, we experience in consultancy, design, manufacture, installation, commission and maintenance of integrated solutions for automated materials handling systems and bulk materials handling solution stretching back more than 15 years.

Over the years, our products and services have been proven to be reliable, efficient, sturdy and highly cost-effective. Currently, we have more than 10 branches in Malaysia (Batu Pahat – HQ, Johor Bahru, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Melacca), Singapore, Indonesia, China (Shanghai, Tianjin, Suzhou), Thailand and India.

Today, we have acquired reputation as one of the leading automated materials handling systems and solutions provider. In line with our expansion plan and rapid growth, we are currently looking for suitably qualified candidates with commitment and enthusiasm (who have highly willingness to re-locate to our other branches) to fill the following positions:

Procurement Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Overall ownership on the development and implementation of a strategic plan for Purchasing and Procurement
  • Purchasing and Managing Material acquisition.
  • Create action plans and set targets for stock management and cost controls in line with Business Plan commitment.
  • Supplier Performance, responsible for ensuring materials is received on time and in the agreed format for production.
  • Responsible for supplier delivery improvement/ development programs.
  • Identify and feedback demand chain problems.
  • Identify opportunities for stock reduction.
  • Undertake data analysis / management reports as necessary covering availability, stock, supplier performance and cost savings.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
  • Required skill(s): MRP, ERP.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Batu Pahat.
  • Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
  • Preferably Managers specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
  • Capable negotiator, communicator and planner
  • The drive to achieve results whilst under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Self starter with the ability to run in-depth investigations and report to Senior Management.
  • Applicants must be willing to travel overseas
  • Full-Time positions available.
